The Chakras & the Aura
Auras are the faint light given off by electromagnetic fields. Electromagnetism is energy that courses through us, funneled through 7 Chakras, or energy wheels, situated along the spine. They reflect the 7 colors of the spectrum into the aura, filtered through the body. They energize the organs around them, vibrating according to an individual's state of mind & being.

Root: Red
The Root governs the bones & skin, our innate sense of self in society & with Nature. It comprises the foundation for an individual's life, including the legs & feet. For grounding, Not Serendipity uses nut butters, enriched with earthy & red clays, like Rhassoul & bentonite, or extra detoxifying with activated charcoal. If scented, base is woody notes (sandalwood, cedarwood), herbals of patchouli or vetiver.
Sacral: Orange
The Sacral governs the organs of the lower abdomen, sexual energy, creativity, & emotions. externally, it flows through relationships, the sense of belonging, both to communities & Nature. For relaxing the Sacral Chakra, Orange fruit or florals like neroli layer with sandalwood, in bases of rosehip, goatmilk, & honey. Root spices like turmeric are mixed with pink clay for soft orange color. Exfoliants may include orange & pomegranate peel.
Solar Plexus: Yellow
The Solar Plexus Chakra governs mental acuity & focus. It drives our motivation & will with the heart when it's aligned with the other Chakras. It shapes personality as defined by the ego. With the lower two Chakras, they form a foundation for the higher Chakras to build upon. If out of balance, the others are, as well. For balancing, lemony scents are combined with turmeric & honey, as well as thyme & lemongrass for digestive support, since the digestive system is in the area of the Solar Plexus.
Heart: Pink
The Heart is the middle of the Chakra system. it governs the organs near the heart, so the lungs, the circulatory system, along with the arms & hands. Since the Heart Chakra bridges the lower 3 with the upper 3, it has 2 colors that are associated with it
Heart: Green
